The Pesticide-Free Devon Network
In June 2025 we organised the pioneering Pesticide-Free Devon Conference and Gathering. Over 100 people - many motivated individuals and more than 50 different groups and organisations from across Devon gathered at the Courtenay Centre in Newton Abbot to explore the potential for enabling the whole of Devon to go “pesticide-free”.
We had a day full of inspiring and thought provoking talks and workshops, a locally-sourced delicious organic lunch and an afternoon Plenary session where all delegates were able to feed back their thoughts and ideas. The key outcomes of this process were a detailed Conference Report, the launch of the Pesticide-Free Devon Network and the initiation of a wide range of local pesticide-reduction initiatives.
